Attacks on the facilities of the Armed Forces and critical infrastructure were being prepared: the SBU liquidated the FSB agent network (video)

Counter-intelligence of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) as a result of a multi-stage special operation detained nine Russian agents in Dnipro, Zaporizhzhia, Sumy, as well as in Donetsk, Odesa and Kirovohrad regions. About this reported in the press service of the SBU.

All those involved acted separately for the conspiracy, but their activities were coordinated by one personnel officer of the FSB, whose identity has already been established. According to the instructions of the Russian special services, the traitors collected coordinates for fire damage to the Defense Forces and critical infrastructure facilities.

The hostile group included two officials: one from the Dnipro City Council, the other a department head in the Yuzhne City Council of the Odesa Region. They tried to establish the locations of anti-aircraft defense systems and key electrical substations to adjust Russian attacks.

Two agents were scouting locations of fortified areas and firing positions of heavy artillery of the Armed Forces near Pokrovsk and Chasovoy Yar. Another attacker collected information about the concentration of personnel and military equipment of the defenders of Kurakhovo in Donetsk region.

Among the traitors was also an ex-employee of the disbanded militia, who gave the occupiers data about the consequences of the Russian attack on one of Ukraine’s hydroelectric power plants. In addition, among the Russian agents were two managers and a university student, who recorded the movement of the echelons of the Armed Forces in the direction of the Eastern Front.

All traitors were recruited remotely through pro-Russian Telegram channels. During the searches, mobile phones with confirmations of their intelligence and subversive activities for the benefit of Russia were seized from the detainees.
