Bill Gates says he has allocated more than $100 billion to fight diseases

The founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates, said that his charitable foundation has already spent more than 100 billion dollars to fight diseases and implement projects to reduce poverty. He added that he plans to continue actively making donations, informs BBC.
“I’ve given away over $100 billion, but I have more to give.” he noted.
The amount of his donation roughly corresponds to the size of the Bulgarian economy or the cost of building the HS2 gas pipeline, and is also equivalent to one year’s sales of Tesla. The co-founder of Microsoft, along with his fellow philanthropist Warren Buffett, joined forces through the Gates Foundation, which he founded with his ex-wife Melinda.
According to Gates, philanthropy has become an integral part of his life:
“With wealth comes responsibility for its distribution.”
He noted that he likes to give money away, and added that about $60 billion of his wealth has already been directed to the Foundation.
