Britain calls on US to help future peacekeepers in Ukraine

Great Britain convinces the USA to contribute to the deployment of a peacekeeping corps in Ukraine by providing air cover. About this informs edition of The Time.

Britain is trying to persuade the US to provide Ukraine with more air defense systems to help support a potential future peace deal.

“This is their guarantee of safety,” – said the British government.

At the same time, the US does not rule out providing air cover. In addition, Great Britain and France continue to discuss the possibility of sending troops to maintain a ceasefire in Ukraine in the event of a peace agreement.

We will remind you that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference that the peacekeeping contingent should be up to 110,000 people. In his opinion, the participation of maritime countries, for example, Britain or the Nordic countries, is desirable.
