Czech Republic transfers hundreds of AI drones to Ukraine

The Czech company LPP holding has created innovative drones controlled by artificial intelligence, which demonstrate high resistance to enemy means of electronic warfare. Hundreds of such devices have already arrived in Ukraine and are actively used in combat operations. About this informs ČTK České noviny.
Drones of the MTS series have a fundamental difference from classic models — they do not require communication for navigation. The operator only sets the coordinates of the mission, after which the drone orients itself using artificial intelligence and the method of visual comparison of the real landscape with the terrain map. This allows devices to work even in areas where GPS signals are blocked or absent.
The series includes three models: the tactical MTS05 with a range of tens of kilometers, the medium MTS25 with an internal combustion engine capable of covering hundreds of kilometers, and the MTS40, the largest of the models, which can carry a warhead weighing up to 12 kg.
The Czech army is also interested in the development of LPP holding, which plans to purchase these drones for its own needs. The company currently produces about 100 drones per month, but plans to increase production to 20 units per day. The entire production process is carried out inside the holding — from the development of software and electronics to the assembly of devices and the creation of warheads.
LPP holding is a Czech technology holding that unites companies operating in the fields of aviation, artificial intelligence, mechanical engineering and the defense industry.
