The former Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, Oleksiy Danilov, did not take the post of ambassador of Ukraine to Moldova after his dismissal, although his candidacy was approved by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. After Zelensky’s announcement of Danilov’s appointment to the post of ambassador back on March 29, there are still no official confirmations or mentions on the website of the diplomatic mission of Ukraine in Moldova. Instead, the head of the embassy remains Marko Shevchenko, who was fired by the president on the same day that Danilov’s appointment was announced.

It is still not known whether Danilov received an agreman and what he did during the last two months. There is an assumption that the ex-secretary of the National Security Council could resign from his post, but these are just rumors.
