Defense forces hit an aircraft factory and an air defense missile manufacturing plant in Russia: General Staff

Units of the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in coordination with other components of the Defense Forces, struck a number of objects of the military-industrial complex of the Russian Federation on its territory. About this reported General Staff.
As part of an operation aimed at reducing the enemy’s missile and bomb attack capabilities, the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck the Voronin Lukhovytsk Aviation Plant, a branch of JSC RSK “MiG” in the Moscow region.
This enterprise carries out a full cycle of work — “from mechanical processing of parts to final assembly, flight testing and delivery of Russian MiG combat aircraft.” Explosions and fires were recorded on the territory of the plant.
In addition, in cooperation with other elements of the Defense Forces, units of the Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Security Service of Ukraine struck the Design Bureau of Instrumentation named after Academician Shipunov, which is engaged in the production of missiles for anti-aircraft missile and anti-aircraft missile and gun systems (SARK/ZRGK) of the Russian Federation. Explosions, smoke over the industrial zone, as well as the movement of ambulances and fire trucks in the direction of the object were observed at the site. The results of the shots are being clarified.
“The defense forces continue to take all measures to undermine the military and economic potential of the Russian occupiers and force the Russian Federation to stop its armed aggression against Ukraine“, the General Staff noted.
