Detention in Odesa: 48 men tried to escape to Moldova in the back of a truck
The state border guards monitored the movement of violators using a drone.

In the Odesa region, border guards together with law enforcement officers detained 48 conscript men who tried to illegally cross the Ukrainian-Moldovan border. About this reported The State Border Service of Ukraine on Wednesday, August 7.
Border guards using a drone tracked the movement of violators and stopped the truck on the outskirts of the village of Chorna in the Podilsky district. KAMAZ was completely filled with men, without any conditions for transporting people. There were 48 men aged 21 to 48 from different regions of Ukraine in the back of the truck under the awning.
The border guards found out that the cost of the trip was 150,000 hryvnias for each “client”. The men had to pay this amount to the organizer, who was the administrator of one of the Telegram channels, in the event of a successful transfer across the border.
“The men were picked up by the driver of the truck at designated stops to take them to the border. However, all passengers were detained, and the truck was seized. Currently, investigative actions are ongoing.”, — informed the DPSU.
Violators have been issued reports under Part 2 of Art. 204−1 (illegal crossing or attempted illegal crossing of the state border of Ukraine) of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. In addition, the men were brought to administrative responsibility under Art. 202 of the Criminal Procedure Code for violation of the border regime.
