Donald Trump plans to deport 1 million illegal migrants from the United States

US President-elect Donald Trump and his new team are preparing for the large-scale deportation of more than 1 million illegal immigrants. On this occasion, negotiations have already begun with the leaders of other countries regarding the return of their citizens who are in the United States without legal grounds.
About this informs Bloomberg.
Donald Trump has already held talks with Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum and Salvadoran President Naib Bukele, with whom he maintains “relatively stable relations.” His unofficial advisers also used additional channels for negotiations, including involving businessmen as mediators. The main goal of these discussions is to convince the countries of origin to take back their citizens.
“They’re going to take them back,” he said. “They’re all taking them back, yes. And if not, they’re going to be hit hard economically.”, – noted the newly elected president.
Some of Trump’s advisers are suggesting that “Mexico and other third countries” take in the deportees. However, the official representatives of Mexico noted that they are ready to accept only their own citizens. Other countries, such as Venezuela, Nicaragua, Cuba and China, with which the United States has strained relations, could become a serious obstacle to the implementation of these plans.
The Trump administration plans to focus primarily on deporting more than 1 million people who are in the U.S. illegally and have deportation orders or have committed crimes. The president’s advisers note that the team is already actively working on these plans, without waiting for the official inauguration.
