Drones hit the Progress strategic plant in Michurinsk, which produces missiles for the Russian army

On the night of June 6, drones struck the Progress plant in the city of Michurinsk, which specializes in the production of rocket and aviation equipment for Russia. The enterprise suffered serious damage. This is reported by rosZMI.
According to available information, during the night, Russia was attacked by several drones heading in the direction of Moscow, Engels and Michurinsk (Tambov region). The strike at the Progress plant in Michurinsk took place at approximately 2:15 a.m. local time. According to preliminary data, the object was hit by one drone. Representatives of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are working on the spot to extinguish the fire. Due to the incident, traffic in the area of the plant was temporarily stopped.
There are reports of casualties, but there is currently no detailed information on their condition. This attack is considered one of the significant blows to Russia’s strategic infrastructure, capable of affecting its military-industrial complex.
The Progress plant plays a key role in the production of technical equipment for the missile and aviation industry of the Russian Federation. Its products include control systems for aircraft, helicopters and missile systems, as well as civil electrical products and equipment for gas and oil pipelines.
Devices produced by the enterprise are used in military equipment as control and navigation elements, which makes the plant an important link in the chain of the Russian defense industry.
