During exchanges, the Russian Federation returns tortured bodies without internal organs: relatives of prisoners of war
It is known that Russia refuses to return and list for exchange the prisoners of war of the Mariupol garrison.

During the meeting in Ankara, representatives of the families of prisoners of war discussed with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar the issue of returning to Ukraine the bodies of prisoners of war without internal organs, which may indicate their use for transplantation in Russia. About this informs Ukrinform.
“Today it is already known for certain that we receive bodies of tortured prisoners from captivity during body exchange. We receive not only tortured bodies, but also bodies without organs. This confirms the fact that the black market of organ transplantation in the Russian Federation works, unfortunately, with our prisoners of war. That is why it is necessary to talk about it to the whole world in order to stop this crime.”– said the wife of one of the prisoners of war defenders of the Mariupol garrison.
She appealed to the President of Turkey to support the creation of a mixed medical commission that would monitor the health of both Ukrainian and Russian prisoners of war.
“I would also like to ask Turkey to act as a patron country in solving all humanitarian issues related to the exchange of prisoners of war”, – she added.
The woman emphasized that Russia refuses to return and include in the lists for exchange the prisoners of war of the Mariupol garrison.
“They tell very terrible things, they worry about their husbands and sons. This is a real pain that motivates us to take action. One of the main demands is to create an international medical commission that would investigate the condition of our prisoners of war and help them fight health problems.”, – noted Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey Vasyl Bodnar.
The diplomat expressed hope that Turkey, as a patron state, will actively participate in helping the families of prisoners of war in gathering information about their relatives and providing exchanges.
“I am a mother myself, and the last time I heard about my son was in February, when there was an exchange. We see the health condition of our boys coming back. It is beyond words: they are thin, they need medical attention. Their health is deteriorating in captivity. We do not know whether we will wait for the exchange. It is very scary., – emphasized the mother of a serviceman who has been in Russian captivity for the third year.
