Nuclear weapons in the world

90% of nuclear weapons in the world is in the USA (5 244 warheads) and the Russian Federation (5 889 warhead).

About 3 844 warheads deployed on missiles or aircraft, almost 2 000 of them are in a state of heightened combat readiness.

They only have nuclear warheads 9 countries of the world, their total number reaches 12 512 units

The Stockholm Institute for the Study of Peace Problems noted that all nine nuclear powers – the United States, the Russian Federation, Great Britain, China, France, Pakistan, India, the DPRK, and Israel – began to actively modernize their arsenals. These countries are unofficially called the “nuclear club”.

Everything in the world exists 195 countries, however, have fewer nuclear weapons 5% of them.

USA – 5,244 (of which 3,708 are ready for use)

Russian Federation – 5,889 (of which 4,489 are ready for use)

United Kingdom – 225 (all ready to use)

France – 290 (all ready to use)

China – 410 (all ready to use)

India – 164 (all ready to use)

Pakistan – 170 (all ready to use)

North Korea – 30

Israel – 90

Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan have renounced the use of nuclear weapons.

Ukraine (the third country in the world in terms of nuclear arsenal in the past) was one of the first in the world to abandon the use of these weapons in 1992 after the signing of the Lisbon Protocol, which provided for the transfer of weapons to the Russian Federation as the legal successor of the USSR.
