Together with the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi, several dozen foreign diplomats visited the place where a Russian missile hit a residential building in Kyiv to to honor memory of the dead.
“Today, together with diplomatic representatives of states and international organizations working in Ukraine, we were at the site of the ballistic missile strike on Kyiv. It was there where the rocket explosion took the lives of 12 of our people. My condolences.
Destroyed ordinary houses. The rescue operation has only recently ended. There were more than 50 representatives of embassies, as well as representatives of international organizations. Together they honored the memory of the dead. All diplomats saw with their own eyes whom Russia is attacking with its ballistics. The ballistics they get in North Korea.” – noted Zelensky.
The Italian Embassy in Ukraine confirmed that they took part in commemorating the victims of the Russian attack:
“We join the sympathy of the international community and continue to strongly condemn Moscow’s armed aggression“, the Italian ambassador Carlo Formosa noted.
It is also known that the temporary chargé d’affaires of the French Embassy in Ukraine was present at the site.
According to updated data from rescuers, 12 people were killed and another 87 injured as a result of the Russian ballistic missile attack on Kyiv.
