Filatov’s deputies had fun in the Maldives under the guise of a “business trip”

Deputies of the Dnipro city council from the “Proposal” party, led by Mayor Boris Filatov, found themselves at the center of a scandal because of a trip to the elite resort of Vakkaru Maldives in the Maldives instead of participating in an international conference on the reconstruction of the city. This became known thanks to the video, published Telegram channel Insider UA.

The video shows how the deputies, together with their wives and girlfriends, enjoyed a luxurious vacation, in particular, tasting lobsters with prosecco champagne. Between meals they danced and sang patriotic songs.

Among the participants of the trip, the head of the “Proposals” faction in the city council, Serhii Pustoviya, who is responsible for land issues, was noticed. He was accompanied by his wife Iryna, as well as other deputies with their companions.

Special attention was drawn by Yevhen Kryvosheev, deputy from “Proposition”, who is also responsible for land and construction issues. He vacationed in the Maldives with his wife Olga, who wore jewelry worth more than 50,000 euros. In particular, they include a Van Cleef necklace for 12,900 euros, Cartier bracelets for 14,400 euros and other jewelry.

The video was shot by another deputy of the city council, Kamil Primakov, from the “European Solidarity” party. A Rolex Skydweller watch worth $25,000 was spotted on his hand, while his wife, Oksana, wore Cartier Love bracelets with a total value of over €150,000.

The investigators note that the permission for this “business trip” was personally signed by the mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov. The official purpose of the trip was to participate in an international conference on the reconstruction of the city.
