France and Britain announced their common intention to resist the “Putinization” of the world

Foreign Ministers of Great Britain David Lammy and French Jean-Noel Barrot met in London and stated about the common intention to oppose the “Putinization” of the world. About this writes EFE agency.

This is the first official visit of the French foreign minister to London in the last six years. In a joint statement, the ministers condemned Vladimir Putin’s attempts to “rewrite the international order.”

“France and Great Britain, together with our allies, will do everything necessary to provide Ukraine with the best conditions for achieving a just and lasting peace”, says the statement.

According to the ministers, Putin’s policy creates a dangerous precedent of impunity for invading neighboring countries, which threatens the security of not only Europe, but the entire world.

The ministers emphasized that the consequences of such a policy are already evident in the world. In particular, North Korea is increasing destabilization in Asia, Iran continues to influence the Middle East through its allies, and abandons restrictions on its nuclear program.

This meeting and joint statement underlines the desire of France and Great Britain to work together on global challenges, to protect the international order and to resist the threats posed by the policy of “Putinization”.
