France convenes second summit on the security of Ukraine and Europe

On February 19, France decided to hold another meeting of representatives of European governments to discuss the security of Ukraine and Europe. About this informs Reuters.
Norway, Canada, the Baltic countries, the Czech Republic, Greece, Finland, Romania, Sweden and Belgium are among the invited. Some countries may join the summit via video link.
We will remind that the leaders of the largest EU states, Great Britain, the Secretary General of NATO and the leadership of the European Union – a total of eight countries – were present at the first emergency summit on February 17. Some capitals expressed displeasure that they were not invited.
French President Emmanuel Macron initiated this meeting after the statement of US President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Russia and Ukraine, Keith Kellogg, that Europe is not taking an active part in negotiations to end the war.
