Fuel quality monitoring in Ukraine will be paid

To increase the effectiveness of oil market regulation, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved a new procedure for monitoring the quality, safety and volume of oil products. The process will be carried out through an electronic reporting system, access to which will be paid on an annual basis. About this it is said in Government Resolution No. 1443, published on the official website of the CMU.

According to the document, fuel quality monitoring is entrusted to the Ministry of Energy, which will also choose the administrator of the electronic system.

To cover the costs of maintaining the system, the administrator will charge a fee for annual or monthly access, except for central executive authorities. Every year by December 1, the administrator will submit cost calculations for approval by the Ministry of Energy, and by December 25 the Ministry of Energy must approve these calculations.

The regulation sets limits: the annual access fee will not exceed ten subsistence wages for able-bodied persons, and the monthly fee will not exceed one subsistence wage.

Currently, the subsistence minimum for able-bodied persons is 3,028 hryvnias, and it is not planned to increase it next year. Thus, annual access to the system will cost 30.28 thousand hryvnias.
