Leading Ukrainian banks signed a memorandum on priority lending to the energy industry

During the “Economic Truth” banking forum, 17 of the largest banks of Ukraine signed a memorandum on preferential lending for energy infrastructure restoration projects.

This is reported by the press service PrivatBank.

The memorandum provides for flexible and affordable lending conditions aimed at supporting innovative projects in the field of energy and energy efficiency. Each bank will determine specific financing conditions in accordance with its credit policy.

You can apply for a soft loan at the branches of the signatory banks or through other channels. Applications will be considered on a priority basis. The loan amount can range from 500,000 to 25 million euros, depending on the size of the project. Customers must provide their own contribution of 10% to 50%. For small and micro businesses, lending will be done in hryvnias.

The government will also compensate condominiums up to UAH 1 million for solar power plants and up to UAH 2 million for heat pumps. The “5-7-9%” concessional lending program has been expanded to finance the restoration of damaged CHP and TPP equipment, as well as the purchase of gas-fired power generation plants.

Preferential lending will be provided throughout Ukraine, with the exception of war zones and occupied territories. The cost of the loan will depend on the NBU discount rate.
