Fugitive MP Dmytruk, who was put on the international wanted list, continues to vote in parliament

People’s Deputy of Ukraine Artem Dmytruk, who was declared an international wanted person, took part in the meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on law enforcement online on October 7. About this informs “Chesno” movement, confirming information from members of this committee.
According to the deputies, Dmytruk joined the meeting during consideration of the third item on the agenda and voted for the draft law on amendments to the Criminal Code of Ukraine on improving criminal liability for infection with infectious diseases (No. 9398).
According to Ukrainian Pravda, the head of the committee on law enforcement, Serhiy Ionushas, explained that Dmytruk had the right to participate in the meeting, since, regardless of his whereabouts, he remains a people’s deputy and a member of the committee. Ionushas also recalled that the Verkhovna Rada has already registered a draft resolution on recalling Dmytrouk from the position of a committee member.
The issue of illegal border crossing by Dmytruk was not considered at the committee meeting. Ionushas explained that the agenda of the meeting consisted of only three issues, among which this issue was not listed.
