Gas began to flow to Transnistria at the expense of a Russian loan

On February 14, Transnistria began receiving gas from the Hungarian company through the intermediary of “Moldovagaz”, paying with a Russian loan. About this reported the leader of the unrecognized region, Vadym Krasnoselskyi.
“Gas arrived in Transnistria today. This delivery was made possible thanks to Russian credit assistance and the painstaking, scrupulous, coordinated work of the team of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation. On behalf of myself and every Transnistrian, I express my gratitude to the specialists of this department and the officials of the Russian Federation for supporting the Transnistrian people in an extremely difficult energy situation.”Krasnoselsky howled.
The day before, the Hungarian company “MET Gas and Energy Marketing AG” announced that it will start supplying gas to Transnistria from Friday, February 14:
“According to the short-term announcement, the supply of gas will begin on February 14, 2025. We are glad to have reached an agreement that contributes to the energy security of the country. This achievement was made possible only thanks to the decisive contribution of the operators of the transport systems of the EU countries, Ukraine and Moldova.”
It should be noted that for the supply of gas to Transnistria, the Hungarian company partially uses the Ukrainian State Gas Company.
