Government approves Priority Action Plan for 2025

On February 18, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine approved the government’s Plan of Priority Actions for 2025, which includes almost 400 steps. About this reported Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

“We approved today the government’s Plan of Priority Actions, which contains almost 400 steps in the areas of responsibility of all ministries and departments. These, in particular, are our obligations to partners under the Ukraine Facility program, under the cooperation program with the IMF, within the framework of our European integration track.”, says the message.

The plan includes tasks and measures that determine ways to achieve the government’s goals and priorities. It covers initiatives aimed at solving socially important problems caused by the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which are necessary for the recovery of the country both during the period of martial law and after its end.

In addition, the document provides for the fulfillment of Ukraine’s international legal obligations, which require the adoption of government decisions. In particular, this concerns European integration, taking into account the Report on Ukraine’s progress within the framework of the 2024 EU Enlargement Package and screening reports based on the results of bilateral negotiations between Ukraine and the EU regarding accession to the European Union. The plan also takes into account obligations within the framework of cooperation with the International Monetary Fund.
