Great Britain plans to build 12 new cities

The British government plans to build 12 modern cities across the country, Prime Minister Keir Starmer announced. Relevant information made public on the official website of the government.
“Hundreds of thousands of workers and families could live in new towns across Britain as the Prime Minister paves the way for the biggest house-building program since the post-war era”, the message says.
According to Starmer, the implementation of this project will benefit a large number of workers and families. More than 100 locations across England are being considered for construction. At least 10,000 new houses are planned to be built in each of the 12 cities, as well as the creation of the necessary infrastructure – polyclinics, schools and public transport.
The government has announced its intention to simplify bureaucratic procedures and solve environmental issues related to construction. At the same time, the Prime Minister noted that part of the cities, especially in regions with high demand, can be built on territories where green zones are now located.
“Ministers will try to protect the beauty of the countryside”Starmer said.
