The Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orbán, made another call for peace talks regarding the Russian-Ukrainian war, warning that without this, Ukraine risks turning into the “Afghanistan of the European Union”. This is reported by Neue Zürcher Zeitung.
“Europeans consider it moral not to negotiate. This is absurd! This is what must be done in war! Otherwise, it will continue until destruction, and Ukraine will become the Afghanistan of the European Union.”, Orban noted.
According to him, the EU’s policy on supporting Ukraine is a “serious mistake”. In his opinion, it was necessary to “immediately isolate the conflict”, achieve a ceasefire and start negotiations in February 2022.
“The West can win this war only if it sends its soldiers to Ukraine. And we ruled that out. The Ukrainians simply don’t have enough soldiers. That’s why we need Trump now.” – said Orbán.
