Head of ‘Angels of Azov’: Ministry of Social Policy does not respond to requests of the Armed Forces and society for prosthetics for military

The working group at the Presidential Office meets regularly to address the issue of providing Ukrainian soldiers with quality prostheses, but the Ministry of Social Policy does not pay attention to the group’s work and requests from the military and NGOs. This was stated by Olena Tolkacheva, head of the Azov Angels patronage service.

She stressed that each meeting of the group is a thorough work aimed at ensuring that the defenders of Ukraine can receive the necessary things without delays and bureaucratic obstacles.

But the Ministry of Social Policy seems to cynically turn a blind eye to this, ignoring the work of the working group and important requests from the military and civil society,’ Tolkacheva said.

She added that it was easier to reach an agreement with the Ministry of Defence and the General Staff to allow servicemen, even those who were completely unfit for service, to remain in the army.

But for the Ministry of Social Policy, all this seems to be a non-priority. It‘s hard to believe that such neglect is possible when it comes to the fate and future of our heroes and the country’s combat capability,’ concluded Olena Tolkacheva.
