Paid reservation: Hetmantsev explained the details
The head of the Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, expressed his opinion on the paid reservation of conscripts.
The chairman of the parliamentary committee on finance, tax and customs policy, Danylo Hetmantsev, said this in an interview “To the Commander-in-Chief.”
Hetmantsev explains that the level of earnings differs significantly depending on the place of residence. For example, in the villages and in the frontline areas, salaries are much lower than in the cities. The same applies to age: older specialists earn more than younger ones.
The People’s Deputy emphasizes that such a reservation can undermine the principle of fairness of donation, which is fundamental to a society at war.
He supports the Government’s decision to supplement reservation by occupation and industry with a wage requirement above the industry average.
This corresponds to the principle of the president, who divides Ukrainians into those who fight and those who work, that is, pay taxes.
The Verkhovna Rada is considering a new reservation concept that will allow businesses to reserve up to 50% of conscripted employees.
