After a year of working as the chief physician in the Military Medical Commission (MMC) of the Ternopil Regional TCC, Oleg Farion bought an apartment, a house and five land plots covering several hectares in one day. This information was found in his declarations, which was noticed by users in the network.
Before being appointed to the VLK, Farion worked as a psychiatrist at the Kremenets Support Hospital. In his declaration for 2022, real estate is not mentioned at all. Later, he became the head of the VLK at the Kremenets TCC and SP, and later headed the medical service of the Ternopil Oblast TCC and SP.
In the declaration for 2023, it is stated that Farion’s wife completed the purchase of several real estate objects in one day. Although the amount of the deals is not specified, experts assume that it is significantly higher than the declared income and savings of the family.
We will remind that after the high-profile corruption scandal in the Khmelnytskyi region, the authorities in Volyn plan to check all the conclusions of the VLK regarding postponements from mobilization. Earlier, in Khmelnytskyi, the deputy head of the VLK and an emergency medical doctor were detained, who are suspected of issuing fake medical certificates for men of military age. Eight million hryvnias, which they received for disability certificates, were confiscated from them.
