“The IMF mission led by Gavin Gray is starting today in Kyiv to discuss the eighth revision of the Enhanced Financing Program (EFF) with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities”,– Tofano said.
The review of the financing program is a stage during which the IMF assesses the extent to which the country complies with its obligations within the framework of the concluded program. In particular, the fulfillment of fiscal goals and progress in the implementation of planned reforms are checked. In case of a favorable result of the review, Ukraine will receive another tranche in the amount of 487 million dollars.
We will remind that on November 11, 2024, the International Monetary Fund started the work of the mission with the aim of conducting the sixth review of the program of cooperation with Ukraine. In February 2025, the IMF mission arrived in Kyiv to discuss the seventh revision of the Enhanced Financing Program (EFF) with representatives of the Ukrainian authorities.
