In 2025, the number of human rights violations by the CCC increased: Lubinets

In 2025, an increase in the number of appeals regarding human rights violations by TCC employees is recorded. About this reported Dmytro Lubinets, the Human Rights Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, emphasized the inadmissibility of such actions and the need to respond.
“Human rights violations by TCC employees: the number is increasing, the nature is changing. In 2025, the number of appeals and cases of rights violations covered in the media during mobilization activities by TCC employees increased. And the trend persists”, — said Lubinets.
According to him, in just 2.5 months of 2025, more than 40 individual requests for violations were received, including the non-admission of lawyers, the use of physical force, the use of weapons and other special equipment, refusal to accept documents and other violations. Lubinets emphasized that each of such cases is carefully studied, and he promptly reacts to similar situations in order to protect human rights.
“Recently, there have been at least 3 videos in the media where cyclists are hit by a car and then people in uniform use force and put these cyclists into cars. I would like to emphasize that such actions are unacceptable and require a response”, – concluded the ombudsman.
