In the first quarter of 2024, the State Customs Service issued 23,500 transit declarations under the joint transit procedure. This is a third of the total number of transit declarations, which indicates a significant increase in the volume of transit transportation through Ukraine.

“In the first quarter of 2024, the State Customs Service issued a third of the total number of transit declarations under the joint transit procedure: 23.5 thousand out of more than 65 thousand. Despite the military actions and the difficult situation on the western border of Ukraine, the 1st quarter, by all indicators, became the most productive compared to the previous quarters since the start of the joint transit procedure in Ukraine – October 1, 2022“, the message says
During this time:
- More than 19,000 relocations started in Ukraine have been successfully completed.
- Almost 4,500 relocations started in other countries participating in the convention have been successfully completed in Ukraine.
- The number of enterprises that received and use authorizations for the use of transit simplifications has almost doubled – from 57 to 101.
- Almost 3,000 individual guarantees totaling more than 95 million euros have been registered.
- 21 total guarantees totaling EUR 38 million have been registered.
Thanks to customs visa-free:
- Bureaucratic barriers for transit transportation have decreased.
- The time of customs control has been shortened.
- Reduced costs for business.
