In October, fuel sales at gas stations increased by 1.9% compared to September, and the total cost of sold fuel reached UAH 33.4 billion, which is 2.8% more than in the previous month.

The increase in sales was preceded by a two-month decline in August-September of 10.4% compared to a record July, it is reported. At the same time, sales volumes in October 2024 decreased by 7.7% compared to October last year.

The city of Kyiv, as well as Kyiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Lviv, and Odesa regions became the main fuel sales markets. Almost half of all fuel sales were made at gas stations in these regions.
Gas stations in these regions make up a third of the total number of gas stations in Ukraine, according to the structure of the retail market.
Analysts note that the average daily sale of fuel in October varied from a minimum of 0.9 thousand liters per day in the Kherson region to 7.7 thousand liters per day in Kyiv.
