Zelensky will not give an interview to pro-Russian journalist Tucker Carlson: OP

The journalist himself previously noted that he was allegedly given permission to communicate with the President of Ukraine

The president’s office denied the information that Volodymyr Zelenskyy intends to give to American pro-Russian journalist Tucker Carlson. About this stated press secretary of the head of state Serhiy Nikiforov.

“Mr. Tucker Carlson should check his FSB sources more carefully. The President of Ukraine has a completely different schedule, and Tucker Carlson is not there,” he wrote on Facebook.

Before that, Carlson posted on his Twitter reported, who allegedly received permission to interview Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyi. At the same time, he noted that he had been pursuing this for two years, “especially intensively after the interview with Putin in February.”

“The point is to bring to the American people much-needed information about a conflict that is completely changing their country’s position in the world. We hope that this will happen soon,” Carlson wrote.

What is known about Tucker Carlson

At one time, 54-year-old Tucker Carlson was the host of the Fox channel. He is known as a supporter of Trump and a critic of Zelensky.  He became extremely influential as a late-night political talk show host between 2016 and 2023. When he was fired, Carlson launched a show on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

Already in the first issue, he accused Ukraine of undermining the Kakhovskaya HPP. In addition, he previously justified Russian aggression many times, spread fakes about “American biolaboratories in Ukraine” and said that supporting Ukraine harms Western countries.
