In the evening of February 2, the Russian drone “Molniya” struck the Kyiv district of the city.
“An enemy UAV hit the 8th floor of an apartment building in the Kyiv district of the city. The impact hit the 8th floor of a 16-story building. Six cars were mutilated in the yard. All utility services and volunteers are already working on the spot.” – says the message.
As a result of the drone strike, three apartment buildings were damaged. 69 windows and 53 balcony panes were broken. The consequences of the attack are promptly eliminated by communal services with the support of volunteers. The number of wounded has increased to five.
In the State Emergency Service clarifiedthat no fire occurred as a result of the incident. 14 rescuers and 4 units of equipment worked on the spot. Units of the National Police, representatives of communal services and volunteers were also involved in the work. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided support to the victims. The rescuers conducted an examination of the damaged apartments in the residential building.
Later, the Russian Federation again attacked the city with drones. According to Igor Terekhov, all the hits took place in the Kyiv region:
“14 enemy drone strikes hit five locations in the city, all in the Kyiv district. Fortunately, there were no casualties. There is minor damage to the housing stock and transport infrastructure.”
Oleg Sinegubov, head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration addedthat local fires started as a result of the shelling. Currently, specialized services continue to eliminate the consequences of shelling the city.
