The Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive a new unmanned aerial system “Shchedryk”

The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has officially approved the Ukrainian-made Shchedryk unmanned aerial vehicle complex for use in the Defense Forces. In the near future, the new system will arrive in the Armed Forces. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.

The “Schedryk” complex is designed to perform reconnaissance and observation tasks on the battlefield, both during the day and at night. It includes a control station and several remote-controlled aircraft, which are equipped with silent electric motors. Thanks to increased resistance to radio-electronic interference, the devices can operate effectively even in difficult conditions of enemy countermeasures.

A feature of the complex is its ability to perform tasks in various weather conditions, including strong wind, frost and heat. High-efficiency batteries ensure long-term continuous operation, which makes “Schedryk” extremely reliable in long-term operations.

“The capabilities of the aircraft and its optical equipment allow it to work from a height that is difficult to reach for most of the enemy’s anti-aircraft fire weapons,” – said Deputy Minister of Defense Dmytro Klimenkov.
