A fire broke out on the territory of the children’s health center in the Sumy community due to the fall of fragments of the Russian kamikaze drone “Shakhed”. Russian troops also carried out a large-scale shelling of the border areas of Sumy Oblast, which included 68 attacks with a total of 143 explosions. Sumy, Khotyn, Yunakiv, Myropil and Krasnopil communities were the most affected.
According to the OVA, the shelling was carried out using mortars, FPV drones and the dropping of VOG from drones. In particular, a bus was damaged in the Myropil community during an FPV drone attack, as a result of which two civilians were injured. In addition, in the Sumy community, the debris of the drone damaged a private house. Emergency services are working at the scene to determine the extent of the damage.
