In the United States, 26 people died and dozens were injured as a result of a powerful storm and tornado

In the past two days, a powerful storm and tornadoes have ripped through the South and Midwest of the United States, killing at least 19 people and injuring dozens. Also, these natural disasters caused significant destruction and left hundreds of thousands of residents without electricity. About this informs NBC News channel.

The state of Missouri suffered the greatest losses, where at least 12 people died. Powerful storms swept across the Midwest and South, leaving more than 316,000 customers without power. Photos provided by the State Highway Patrol show destroyed homes and deserted streets in Webster and Ozark counties.

At least three people have died and 29 others have been injured in the state of Arkansas due to devastating storms. Storms rage through the region, leaving behind major destruction.

Four people were killed in Amarillo, Texas. Strong winds and tornadoes caused numerous destruction of infrastructure.

Another natural disaster victim was recorded in the state of Oklahoma. According to Gov. Kevin Stitt, a person died when his car was caught in thick smoke from wildfires raging in the state.

About 138 million people are currently at risk due to adverse weather conditions. Tornado warnings have been issued for parts of Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, Indiana and Kentucky. Emergency services urge citizens to be careful, recommend staying in shelters and monitor weather forecast updates.

The consequences of these natural disasters once again demonstrate the danger of natural disasters and the need to be prepared for such threats.
