In Ukraine, about 6 million men may be fined for not updating their data: People’s Deputy Osadchuk

In Ukraine, at least 6 million men may be subject to fines for not having time to update their data. About this reported First Deputy of the Parliamentary Committee on Law Enforcement, Member of the Verkhovna Rada from the “Voice” faction Andriy Osadchuk.

“I haven’t seen the final numbers, but it’s about 4,200,000 people who have updated their data. I heard those numbers as of yesterday or the day before yesterday. Given that there are about 11,100,000 men who need to update their data, it is not difficult to calculate that at least 6 million people are subject to automatic administrative responsibility,” – he explained.

In his opinion, the corresponding indicator of “violators” indicates that the process of updating the data of the register of conscripts was carried out “unsuccessfully”.

“If we end up with 6 million violators, then surely something was done wrong. And wrong is something done late and hastily. The conscript register is a big problem that has not been addressed for decades, including the entire period of the full-scale invasion of Russia Federation to Ukraine. It was necessary to put the register of conscripts in order from the beginning of the full-scale war.” – emphasized Osadchuk.

So, if they all pay a fine of UAH 17,000, it will amount to more than UAH 100 billion.
