The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a resolution on the formation and use of an electronic document on education. In Ukraine, the rules for the creation and use of electronic educational documents that confirm the level of education after completion of studies have been approved. Now documents, including certificates, diplomas of higher education and scientific degrees, will be presented in electronic form.
“The Procedure for the formation and application of an e-document on education has been approved. The procedure defines the mechanism for the formation and application of an e-document on education, which confirms that a person has obtained a certain educational level and/or awarded a person a certain (educational-professional, educational-scientific/educational-creative) degree of education (educational-qualification level) based on the results of successfully obtaining education at the appropriate level.” – says the message.
An electronic document on education is a digital analogue of a diploma or certificate, which is based on data from EDEB, has a unique identification – QR code, barcode or digital ID – and will be accessible through the Diya application.
We will remind that on April 30, the government of Ukraine approved an agreement with the government of Moldova, which provides for mutual recognition of educational documents and scientific degrees of both states.
