The President of Ukraine announced the creation of the Ministry of Ukrainian Unification

By the end of 2024, a new ministry will be created in Ukraine that will deal with the issues of Ukrainians abroad. About this said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi during the presentation of the Sustainability Plan.
“Ukraine needs an institutional strengthening of the policy regarding Ukrainians abroad, regarding our people from all waves of migration. We must create a ministry of unification of Ukrainians that will purposefully deal with the affairs of the global multi-million Ukrainian community,” – the head of state said.
According to Zelenskyi, the candidacy of the future minister will be submitted for approval by the end of this year. He also appreciated the restart of the diplomatic service, which includes changes in the composition of ambassadors, especially in the G7 countries, as well as filling all vacancies.
The creation of the new ministry is part of the large-scale Stability Plan, which aims to ensure the internal stability of Ukraine in such areas as the front, the defense-industrial complex, the economy, finance and other strategic areas of importance.
“This concerns various aspects of the work of our diplomacy, in particular both financial and personnel. We are currently working on this together with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. By the end of the year, replacements will be made in the corps of ambassadors of Ukraine. We pay special attention to the G7 states, and we will also fill all vacancies of Ukrainian ambassadors — all by the end of the year,” — he clarified.
