The Russian army struck a trolleybus depot in Kharkiv: there are casualties and damage

On the night of May 30, Russian troops attacked a trolleybus depot located in the Slobid district of Kharkiv. As a result of the attack, 18 trolleybuses, 33 residential buildings were damaged, and two employees of the enterprise were injured. About this informs Mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.

“Today, Kharkiv suffered another attack: the enemy fired 8 “shaheeds” at one of the depots where our trolleybuses were being repaired and serviced. As a result, not only the utility company was damaged, but also more than thirty apartment buildings. Two people needed medical assistance.” – says the message.

According to the mayor, most of the transport was placed in different areas of the city in advance, which made it possible to avoid more serious losses. However, the equipment that was under repair came under attack: one trolleybus was completely destroyed, 18 more were damaged to varying degrees.

“As for the residential buildings located next to the trolleybus depot, 33 houses were really affected, mostly broken windows. Our utility companies are currently working to plug the contours and inspect the roofs.”— Terekhov clarified.

The explosions in Kharkiv began at 03:01, the attack lasted approximately 20 minutes. Eight hits were recorded in Slobid district of the city. As a result of the attack, women aged 61 and 84 experienced a stress reaction. Medical assistance is provided to the injured.

Also, on the morning of May 30, Russian troops attacked Izyum and Vasylov Khutir, which is part of the Chuguyiv community.

“The enemy attacked the village of Vasyliv Khutir of the Chuguyiv community with attack drones. At the moment, we know of 8 victims, including two 16-year-old children”Oleg Sinegubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, said.
