Individual volunteers will be able to buy components for drones abroad

The head of the National Bank of Ukraine, Andriy Pishnyi, said that the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has expanded the list of defense goods that natural persons-volunteers can buy abroad. That’s what he’s about stated on your Facebook page.

“We have expanded the list of defense goods that natural persons-volunteers can buy abroad. Among the new items are components for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), in particular, more than 10 items under UKTZED codes.”, — Pyshnyi noted.

He also reported that the National Bank of Ukraine canceled the deadline for calculations for military and dual-use goods, as well as for equipment imported by executors of state defense procurement contracts. This decision will make it possible to significantly simplify the procurement process and speed up the delivery of the necessary equipment to Ukraine.

“These are, in particular, goods and equipment that are used to create or expand production facilities for the production of defense goods. This will contribute to increasing the defense capability of our country and provide the necessary support for our military.”, — added Pishnyi.

The head of the NBU also emphasized that the executors of state contracts should be included in the electronic register of participants in the selection and executors of state contracts. This will help ensure transparency and control over the execution of government orders, as well as increase the efficiency of the use of public funds.

Pyshnyy emphasized that such changes are an important step in supporting volunteer activities and strengthening Ukraine’s defense capabilities. He also called on volunteers and executors of state contracts to actively use new opportunities and contribute to strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.
