Iran’s Foreign Minister urgently flies to Moscow after US strikes on nuclear sites

On June 22, during a press conference in Istanbul, the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Abbas Aragchi, announced that he would arrive in Moscow on an emergency visit. According to him, he is scheduled to meet there with the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin. About this informs Associated Press.
Aragchi stated that Russia is a strategic ally of Iran, and the parties are constantly coordinating their positions:
“I am leaving for Moscow today and tomorrow morning I will have a meeting with President Putin. Russia is a friend of Iran, and we have a strategic partnership.”
At the same time, the minister emphasized the danger of the situation in the region. According to him, the United States “crossed all the red lines” by striking Iran’s nuclear facilities. Aragchi warned that the US would bear “full responsibility” for the consequences of its actions.
He also acknowledged that diplomatic efforts are currently blocked:
“The door to diplomacy is effectively closed.”
As previously reported by American media, the United States expects Iran to retaliate within the next 48 hours.
