IT coalition raises 1.1 billion euros to support Ukraine

In the two years since the creation of the country, IT coalitions have attracted aid for Ukraine in the amount of 1.1 billion euros. This became known during a meeting of the participants of the initiative in Tallinn, where further technical needs of the Defense Forces were discussed. About this informs press service of the Ministry of Defense.
In 2024-2025, partners provided assistance in both financial and material form for a total amount of 1.1 billion euros. Procurement within the IT coalition is coordinated by the NATO Supply and Support Agency (NSPA).
“We are really proud of the fact that, through joint efforts, we have already managed to attract almost a billion euros to support the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Armed Forces in the fields of communication and technology. Germany, the United States and Sweden made a particularly significant contribution. The main task now is not only the transfer of already provided aid to the battlefield, but also the implementation of the remaining obligations, as well as the solution of critical needs, which were voiced in detail today by Ukrainian representatives.” – said Deputy Minister of Defense of Estonia Tuuli Duneton,
During the current year, Ukraine has already received three batches of aid from the IT coalition in the amounts of 3.3 million euros, 7.5 million euros and almost 2 million euros.
“Our partners understand the urgency of technological needs and help create and scale projects that make the Ukrainian military faster and more efficient. Thanks to their contributions, we are building the digital capabilities of the Defense Forces. We are strengthening the Oberig registry and our Reserve+ and Army+ applications. We provide units with reliable communication, scale the use of the DELTA combat system. We are grateful to the IT-coalition for constant and unwavering support”, – said Kateryna Chernogorenko, Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine for Digitalization.
The IT-coalition is part of the coalition initiatives within the framework of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine, known as the “Ramstein format”. Its activities are aimed at supporting the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Ministry of Defense in the fields of IT, communications and cyber security.
The coalition currently includes Belgium, Denmark, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Finland, Sweden and Japan. The leading countries of the initiative are Estonia and Luxembourg.
