On October 1, Russia struck Zaporizhzhia with guided aerial bombs (UABs), which led to tragic consequences. According to preliminary data, at least one person died.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhia Regional Military Administration reported, that as a result of the attack, one person died, and both high-rise buildings and private homes were damaged. Infrastructural facilities were also hit.
Later it became known that a 12-year-old girl was among the wounded, and a total of 21 people sought medical help. One man died at the scene.
Information about the victims and victims can still be clarified, as search and rescue operations continue at the site. All necessary services are working at the scene of the incident.
According to Ivan Fedorov, Russian troops struck the city at least six times. It was already reported earlier that the Russian occupiers started using anti-aircraft missiles for attacks on Zaporozhye relatively recently, in particular, directing them at civilian objects.
Russia is constantly shelling Ukrainian cities, and civilian infrastructure and civilians are often the targets of attacks, which once again confirms the aggression against the civilian population.
