On November 19, Kharkiv was again under fire from the Russian Federation. A direct hit was recorded in the Kyiv district of the city, as a result of which the number of victims is constantly increasing. This was announced by the mayor of Kharkiv Igor Terekhov.
At the time of the first official statement at 13:19, it was known about three wounded. However, within a few minutes, the information began to be updated. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synegubov, clarified that the number of victims reached six people. Despite this, according to preliminary data, there were no seriously injured among them.
However, the situation developed quickly: at 13:29 Ihor Terekhov reported about seven injured, and in a matter of minutes their number increased to nine, which Synegubov reported at 1:46 p.m.
The police of the Kharkiv region called on residents to stay in shelters and refrain from publishing photos and videos from the locations of the hits, so as not to endanger the city and its residents. Particular attention is drawn to the fact that there was no advance warning from the Air Force about the shelling, which could have reduced the number of casualties.
This blow is another reminder of the danger that the residents of Kharkiv near the front face every day. The city, which has repeatedly suffered from enemy attacks, once again shows endurance, despite the ruthlessness of the war.
