On the night of March 31, Kharkiv was attacked by drones of the Russian army. At least six explosions rang out in the Kyiv district of the city, causing casualties and destruction. About this reported the mayor of the city Igor Terekhov.
“All the hits by enemy drones were in the Kyiv district of the city. There was a fire at the site of the strikes. A significant fire, the glazing and the facade of the children’s institution were damaged, the windows of the nearby high-rise buildings were broken, several private cars were damaged.” Terekhov noted.
According to him, all relevant services are working to eliminate the consequences of shelling. The mayor clarified that the first attack happened around 2:20 am. One of the drones hit the territory of a civilian enterprise. Two people were injured – they had an acute reaction to stress. They were given medical assistance.
“As a result of the blast wave, the glazing of the windows in the nearby apartment buildings was damaged. The building of the kindergarten and the cultural and sports complex were also damaged.” – said Terekhov.
Emergency workers continue to work on the ground — survey the territory, record the destruction and eliminate the consequences of the strikes.
Around 4:45, another attack took place – according to the mayor, the Russians used at least six “shaheeds”, again hitting the Kyiv district.
“Regarding the previous flights, there was a significant fire at the site of the strikes, the windows and facade of the children’s institution were damaged, the windows of the nearby high-rise buildings were broken, and several private cars were damaged.”,” Terekhov explained.
At 5:55 a.m., the sixth explosion rang out in Kharkiv. According to preliminary information, this “shahed” also hit the Kyiv district of the city. All specialized services are working at the place of impact.
