Around 09:18 a series of explosions rang out in Sumy. The blow fell on one of the central streets of the city. Cars were damaged, one person died, and there are injured. About this reported in the Sumy regional military administration.
According to preliminary data, Russian troops attacked cars in the center of Sumy. As a result of the impact, two cars were completely burnt. The type of weapon used in the attack is currently being determined.
“The consequences of the attack are being investigated. Rescuers are working on the spot”,— explained the OVA.
Acting Mayor Artem Kobzar noted that there are many wounded in the city, and the injured are being taken to medical facilities.
“Dear community! Today there was an explosion in the central part of the city. Unfortunately, one person died and there are injured. Rescuers and emergency services are working at the scene. Information about the scale of the destruction and the number of victims is being clarified.” – said Kobzar.
Starting at 11:00 a.m., the headquarters for the elimination of the consequences of the impact will start work at school No. 10. Residents are recommended to carry originals and copies of documents of the owner of the damaged property: passport, registration number of the taxpayer’s registration card, technical passport and documents confirming ownership of the damaged housing.
