“Kinokolo 2024” national award: the list of nominees has been published

Seventh National Award of Film Critics “Kinocolo” announced the list of nominees for 2024, which will celebrate the best achievements of Ukrainian cinematography.
The leader in the number of nominations was the film “Honeymoon” directed by Zhanna Ozirnaya, which claims to win in five categories. It is followed by the films “Editorial” by Roman Bondarchuk and “Grey bees” by Dmytro Moiseev, each of which is presented in four nominations.
This year, for the first time, the award divided the nominations into the best feature-length and short-length documentary films, which allows for a wider coverage of various aspects of Ukrainian cinema. In total, awards will be presented in 11 categories.
Traditionally, the winners will be announced at the opening ceremony of the “Kyiv Criticism Week” festival, which will take place on October 17, 2024. Lyudmila Chirkova, a member of the Union of Film Critics of Ukraine, will host the event. For the third year in a row, the ceremony will be broadcast by “Suspilne Kultura”.
