The incident took place on the afternoon of August 2, when military personnel of the TCC were checking the military registration data of the driver of the KIA car. It was established that the man had not passed the VLC for several years and refused to receive a summons, calling his 43-year-old brother to help.
During the conflict, a 43-year-old man grabbed the patrol woman’s legs and knocked her to the ground, and a 42-year-old woman hit her several times on the head. The police also reported that the man ran out onto the roadway and lay down on it, obstructing traffic.
Investigators began a pre-trial investigation into the beating of a patrol woman, classifying it under the article “Violence against a law enforcement officer.” A woman and a man were detained, the issue of declaring them suspicious is being decided.
Also, a 43-year-old man and a 42-year-old woman were charged with “Minor hooliganism” and “Malignant disobedience to a lawful order or demand of a police officer.” In addition, the man received a decree for “Violation of traffic rules by pedestrians”.
The driver of the KIA car, which caused bodily harm to the TCC serviceman, fled the scene. Law enforcement officers have started proceedings under the article “Intentional light bodily harm” and are establishing the man’s whereabouts.
As part of both criminal proceedings, forensic medical examinations will be ordered to determine the severity of injuries inflicted on law enforcement officers. Based on the results of expert opinions, a procedural decision will be made regarding the final legal qualification of illegal actions. The investigation is ongoing.
