Ukraine ranks fourth in the EU in terms of startup support
Ukraine took the fourth position among European countries in terms of the level of support for startups. This is stated in the report “European Startup Nations Alliance”, informs press service of the Ministry of Digital Transformation.
“Ukraine joined the ESNA initiative in November 2024 – and has already shown a cool result: we took fourth place among the 24 EU countries in terms of the level of support for startups and surpassed the European average by 12%.” – the message says.
The rating assesses how effectively countries create conditions for the development and scaling of technology companies.
Ukraine received the maximum points for the implementation of the following standards:
- The speed of creating an online business – thanks to “Diya”, you can open a business in a matter of minutes.
- Access to financing – the Ukrainian Startup Fund is recognized as an example of an effective support policy, 570 grants for 423 million hryvnias have already been provided for the development of technology companies.
- Availability of digital government services.
- Options and favorable taxes – thanks to the legal and tax space “Diya.City”, which offers tools for attracting investments.
The five leaders of the rating included *France, Spain, Lithuania, Ukraine and Malta.
