Local budgets received over 156.3 billion hryvnias in 4 months

In January-April 2025, revenues to local budgets of Ukraine increased by 18.5% compared to the same period last year and amounted to over 156.3 billion hryvnias. About this reported Head of the State Tax Service Ruslan Kravchenko.

“In general, local budgets for January-April received more than UAH 156.3 billion. This is UAH 24.4 billion more than last year.” – the message says.

The largest share of revenues was generated by personal income tax — almost UAH 87.7 billion, which is 21% more than in the same period last year. Significant sums also came from the single tax — UAH 28.6 billion (+14.6%) and property tax — almost UAH 18.2 billion (+14.5%).

In addition, UAH 11.8 billion of corporate income tax (+12.1%), UAH 809.3 million of excise tax on excise goods manufactured in Ukraine (+61.2%) and UAH 99.1 million of tourist tax (+35.4%) were paid to local budgets.

We will remind that in the first quarter of 2025, local budgets received UAH 115.6 billion, which is 18.2% higher than the figure for the same period of the previous year. The main sources of revenue from the general fund of local budgets (excluding interbudgetary transfers) were: personal income tax — UAH 63.9 billion, single tax — UAH 19.8 billion, profit tax of private sector enterprises — UAH 10.4 billion, land tax — UAH 10.2 billion, excise tax — UAH 7.8 billion, and real estate tax — UAH 2.6 billion.
