Media service MEGOGO announced about the start of accepting applications for the second MEGOGO AI Film Festival — a competition for creators who create video content using artificial intelligence tools.
“We at MEGOGO see artificial intelligence as a tool that can give a new impetus to Ukrainian film production. In the realities of a full-scale war and limited budgets, AI allows the creation of high-quality visual content faster, more economically and more accessible. This is especially important for genres such as children’s animation or historical cinema, which are often neglected due to the high cost of production. We are interested in the development of a new generation of authors who understand and experiment with new technologies”, – said Maria Panchenko, CCO of MEGOGO.
The festival aims to support the development of the Ukrainian creative market by promoting authors who use AI to create high-quality and relevant video content. You can submit your works until September 1, 2025.
After the successful debut of the festival in 2024 and taking into account new market requests, the organizers have expanded the format of the competition. This year, works will be accepted in two main categories — horizontal and vertical. The total prize fund of the festival is UAH 640,000. The winner in each category will receive UAH 80,000, and the work that will win the grand prize of the festival will receive UAH 240,000.
To participate, it is necessary to fill out the form on the website, provide a description of the video and information about the team or the author, confirm consent to use the work on the MEGOGO and OMCF platforms, as well as upload the finished work in the appropriate format.
